What does it mean to have a vision?
A vision from God for the church is neccesary because it equips us with a divinely inspired sense of direction or purpose that Father God desires to give to his church. Whilst it is often communicated through prayer, Scripture, leadership, or prophetic insight, God will show you his vision for the church in dreams and quiet times too. He will inspire you as you walk in nature, or read a book, or think about a situation.
They key is this: discernment. It's not just a human plan or ambition—the vision for the Church will reflect God’s specific will for our church's role in His broader mission, always for his namesake, and for the Kingdom.
The Elders believe that discerning God's vision is not just the responsibility of leadership—it's a journey we take together as a church family.
We trust that God speaks not only through His Word and through leaders, but also through the hearts and prayers of His people. We want to hear how you sense God is leading us. What are you seeing, feeling, and praying for when it comes to our church’s future? Your insights, burdens, and hopes help us listen more fully to the Holy Spirit and ensure we move forward in unity and obedience.
Together, let’s seek God’s heart—and walk faithfully in the vision He gives. The form on this page, should be were you fill send in a response. Please keep it concise. We don't want to hear about your past experiences in other churches, and we don't want you to give us old visions from a previous time. We want to know what God has been saying to you recently, now, in these moments and in these days.
We also want you to be completely free. Don't worry if you aren't able to fully articulate what you are saying. Just give a flavour. And if the Lord gives you more to say, then just submit the form again. You can submit as many times as you like.
